Sankalpa (Sacred Intention)
Your name, gotra, date of birth, and purpose of the puja are declared before the deity. This links your desire with divine energy.

Kalash Sthapana and Ganapati Yantra Installation
A sanctified copper pot and Ganapati yantra or idol are placed on a red cloth, decorated with flowers, durva grass, betel leaves, and modak (Ganesha’s favourite sweet).

Ganapati Avahan (Invocation)
Using special mantras, Lord Ganesha is invoked into the space. His presence is visualised and invited into the murti or yantra with devotion.

Ganesh Mantra Japa
The powerful mantra
“ॐ गं गणपतये नमः”
